A nifty collection of Firefox extensions. I like the all-in-one sidebar and the IE view - allows you to check what your website looks like in IE without having to actually use it.
According to this article massively multiplayer online (MMO) games and worlds are the Next Big Thing and will even replace TV. While I can see them becoming more popular - they do appeal to lots of different people for different reasons - I can't see them replacing TVs. They're a different genre: online worlds invite active participation (in fact they necessitate it). TV on the other hand is passive and aimed at distributing entertainment and information rather than inviting the user in to join. I do think there will always be a call for passive consumption. Whether the distribution mechanism remains through the physical TV set or whether TVs and computers will merge is another story, but I doubt MMOs will replace TV content.
